Dirty Swift
I bought Whacker off a chap in Boston Lincs about 3 years ago.. Yes she was fully restored and the gel coat is in excellent condition after being protected by the dirt for 16 years! She is currently moored in Abersoch Harbour with two other Swifts - Cicada and Blue Shift.

AA RECOVERY

Flanged (plastic/poly) cups
Hi everyone,
I am planning to remove the keel when the boat is back on the trailer and was wondering if it is possible to purchase new flanged (plastisc/poly) cups which the keel bolt slides through? Has anyone had to replace them?
Thanks
Simon

Whacker still leaking
Thanks everyone for your ideas - very much appreciated. I will check out the keel bolt, anchor locker and screws holding the keel cover in place at the weekend. It's been two weeks since I visited Whacker so will be interesting to see how much water has accumulated over this period. I will keep you ...

"whacker" still leaking!
Has anyone had any experience of leaks occurring on a swift that has been left on a mooring? Last season I noticed that water was entering the boat and lodging between the inner and outer hull. Because a previous owner had installed a "bilge" in the cabin floor which was not properly sealed water ...
