Hi,
What is the best thickness and type of foam for the bunks? I am thinking of 4" or 3". Given the limited head room when sitting down, which is best and which is normally used?

Re: Bunk cushion thickness and foam type
Hi Tom,
I just replaced the foam in the side bunk cushions on Vega, I got 3" foam to fit in the original covers but I guess you could go to 4" if replacing the covers as well. I got the firmest foam they had (ebay seller) and am glad I did,the old foam was gone where you sit all the time, new stuff gives support all over now.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bunk cushion thickness and foam type
Hi Rob,
I think I will go for a good firm 3" foam.
Thanks,
Tom
