Hi Steve,
This was discussed some time ago probably on the old Yahoo group and I don't think anyone has ever found a number on the hull.
So I guess your serial number is 79!
I'm treating mine as the sail number,191!

I wanted it for insuring my boat. When I told them I had no idea they said just make one up then!!!
